Biography: This Australian actress made her first film debut in "Parklands" (1996). Her first leading role was in "Elizabeth" (1998) with a quality performance. She was then cast in "The Talented Mr. Ripley" which starred Matt Damon and Jude Law.
In her more recent works, she has had roles in "The Lord of the Rings" triology. She also starred in "Veronica Guerin" (2003), "The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou" (2004), and a supporting role in "The Aviator" (2004), which starred Leonardo DiCaprio.
