Biography: Birch had many early television appearances, but some noteworthy childhood roles was playing the daughter of Harrison Ford in "Patriot Games" (1992) and as the youngest child in "Hocus Pocus" (1993). By 1994, she showed her acting skills in "Monkey Trouble."
She also played a major role in "Now and Then" (1995). As she grew into her teenage years, she found herself in a pivotal role in "American Beauty." From there, her films have not been as noteworthy, however "Ghost World" was better received, but not as well as "American Beauty."
