Biography: Berry started her career off first as a model,
but made the switch to acting. She had small roles in various unnoticed
films like "Jungle Fever" (1991).
She did capture a larger role in "The Flintstones" (1994). In
1999, she won many awards for her performance in "Introducing
Dorothy Dandridge." By 2000, she wowed audiences with her
performance in "X-Men" as Storm. From there, she held an
insigifnicant role in "Swordfish" (2001), but recovered with
an amazing performance in "Monster's Ball" (2001) with also
starred Charlize Theron.
Berry then found herself in the position of playing a Bond girl in
"Die Another Day" opposite of Bond favorite Pierce Brosnan. In
Berry's first starring role, it was in "Gothika" (2003), a
horror/thriller that did not get much popularity.
In 2004, she starred as Patience Phillips in "Catwoman," which
arguably got horrid reviews despite its entertainment value.
